Hello! My name is Morgan Purdie and I am the current president of Alpha Phi, Gamma Omicron Chapter. I am from Faribault, Minnesota, which is about an hour south of the Twin Cities. Currently, I am a junior studying finance with a minor in data analytics. I am beyond excited to serve as the president of Gamma Omicron and I cannot wait to see what our Executive Council can do throughout the year!
Jenny DeVries, VP of Risk Management
Hi there! My name is Jenny DeVries, and I’m a proud Colorado native. I’m a junior studying Political Science and Strategic Political Communication with dual concentrations in the Honors and Leadership programs. Alpha Phi has always been a passion on mine. As VP of Risk Management, I am committed to holding my sisters to the oaths we swore at initiation, and I will continue to ensure the safety and happiness of our chapter.
Kendra Ford, VP of Membership Recruitment
Hi! My name is Kendra Ford and I am honored to be Vice President of Membership Recruitment for the Gamma Omicron chapter. I am a junior in my first year of pharmacy school from Green Bay, Wisconsin. I cannot wait to add more passionate and genuine women to our chapter! I am extremely proud of the ideals and values all of our members share and I am excited to help continue this legacy!
Hannah Hoefft, VP of Marketing
Hello! My name is Hannah Hoefft and I am thrilled to have been elected VP of Marketing for the Gamma Omicron chapter. I am a junior from Morton, IL double majoring in marketing and management with a concentration in human resources. As VPM, I oversee and coordinate the marketing department, our chapter’s social media, alumnae relations, and our Red Dress Gala. I look forward to combining my passion for marketing and love of Alpha Phi to leave a lasting impact on our chapter!
Lauren Locante, VP of Programming and Education
Hello! My name is Lauren Locante, I am a junior finance major from Brookfield, WI. As the Gamma Omicron chapter’s current Vice President of Programming and Education, I am very excited to be working closely with our Directors in charge of chapter programming, academics, new member development, sisterhoods, and more. This position allows me to help our chapter members strive to be the best sisters, students, and people they can be while growing and developing our appreciation of Alpha Phi tradition and history. I cannot wait to see what this year has in store and all we will accomplish!
Emily furlow, VP of Chapter Operations
Hello! My name is Emily Furlow. I am a junior from Fairview Heights, IL, double majoring in Data Analytics and Marketing. As Vice President of Chapter Operations I am constantly communicating with the women in the house and our house mom Kim to ensure that the house is running smoothly and safely. It is also my duty to take any concerns of the house to our House Corporation and in turn bring back to the women any new or pertinent information from House Corporation. This chapter has given me so much , and in this position I feel like I can give back to the chapter by making our members' experiences the best they can be!

Hi! My name is Margie Sowada, and I was elected as the Director of Administration. I am originally from Wayzata, Minnesota and am currently a Junior studying for my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in STEM and Reading. I am so excited to serve as the Director of Administration to implement many ideas in order to improve communications and involvement within our Gamma Omicron chapter. I look forward to working with the executive council and all members to improve our chapter and continue the amazing legacy of Alpha Phi at Drake University!
Sierra Burgos, VP of Campus Affairs
Hey! My name is Sierra and I’m beyond ecstatic to be representing Alpha Phi as the VP of Campus Affairs. I’m a junior studying magazine media, graphic design, and leadership, and I’m from Cary, Illinois. As our VPCA, I’ll oversee volunteer hours, intramural participation, and philanthropy. I’m honored to be working with such an empowering team of women and I can’t wait to see what the upcoming year has in store!
